We recently spent a day with a young traditional dancing group from Addo and filled the day with fun events from dancing, dance performances, bag racing, beading costumes and swimming.
Charlotte and Becky diligently sewed beads onto the new uniforms & skirts before we delivered them to the children. Naturally we had a couple of sweetie pies who helped us with the sewing.
After all the games were over the children took to the pool for a cool down. Some of the children couldn’t swim so the volunteers were on standby to play lifeguard when needed and gave some tips on how to swim and gain confidence in the water.
