The CNSV:XP community projects started in 2010 when the team noticed the need for financial support, education and volunteer hands within the local community. We do not have a registered charity at this stage and rely solely on donations and the sale of second hand clothes for our community funds. You can help by bringing items with you that we need!

Bavumaleni pre-school Playground

Bavumaleni is a government funded pre-school and is in fairly good condition. We plan on adding some colour to the playground by painting a nature scene on the playground wall.

Masakane pre-school
Masakane is a government funded pre-school in Paterson. We have assisted in building a playground and mini-soccer field so far. We also donate stationary on a regular basis. We have planted a vegetable garden to provide fresh vegetables to the school kitchen, and we maintain it regularly.

The children in the pre-schools do not speak English and range between new born to 5 years old.

Talks at schools
Due to poverty and probably boredom in Paterson, teenagers fall prey to teenage pregnancy and turn to drugs due to pure pressure. We started doing talks on both topics in 2014 at the Paterson High School and plan on continuing this intiative indefinitely at various schools in the community.
