The Shamwari Conservation Experience is a once in a lifetime chance to get behind the scenes and involved with the conservation efforts of the world renowned Shamwari Game Reserve.
At the beginning of February we were joined, for the fifth year running, by 28 students and 2 tutors from Merrist Wood College in the UK. All of the students were studying Animal Management and this programme was an opportunity for them to experience the reality of this particular subject in the African bush.
An epic 2 months has come to an end for the 14 budding rangers being put through their paces on our world class Ranger Training Course held at Highfield House based within the reserve.

This week each trainee has been put through their paces on the reserve, taking assessors as well as some guests on a game drive.
One of CNSV:XP’s regular groups, Myerscough College, donated money to support a level 1 First Aid Training Course for the teachers at Sinovuyo Day Care Centre in Paterson.
